Description
The Kahles K328i DLR (Dynamic Long Range) isn’t just an evolution; it is a complete mechanical departure from standard precision optics. While competitors like Sportsman Gun Centre might list the basic 8x zoom ratio, the true power of the K328i lies in its pioneering optical platform. By utilising a 36mm main tube, Kahles has achieved a 40% wider field of view compared to the industry-standard K525i. For the shooter, this means you no longer "tunnel" into a target; you maintain a panoramic view of the stage, allowing you to spot misses and adjust for wind holds without ever losing your sight picture.
Precision Engineering for the PRS Circuit
In dynamic shooting, speed is as critical as accuracy. The DLR-specific elevation turret is optimised for fast-paced environments. Unlike the standard K328i which uses 160 clicks per turn, the DLR version utilises 100 clicks per rotation (10 MRAD). This allows for EasyRead lettering—extra-large, high-contrast markings that ensure you never misread your dial under the pressure of a ticking clock. Combined with a CCW (Counter-Clockwise) adjustment direction, it follows the intuitive muscle memory of professional tactical shooters.
The "Kahles Patent" Advantage
Handling ergonomics are where Kahles leaves other "Alpha Glass" brands behind. The patented parallax adjustment is located directly beneath the elevation turret. This central arrangement is a game-changer for UK shooters, as it allows you to maintain your shooting position while making adjustments with either hand. You no longer have to "reach over" the scope, a movement that often breaks your cheek weld and shifts your point of impact.
Rugged Reliability & SKMR4+ Clarity
Housed within the matte-black, aircraft-grade aluminium body is the SKMR4+ reticle. Designed by Shannon Kay, this reticle is fine-tuned for the first focal plane, ensuring your sub tensions remain accurate at every magnification setting from 3.5x up to 28x. Whether you are competing in a UKV (UK Varminters) long-range match or a precision rimfire stage, the Twist Guard windage prevents accidental dial shifts while moving between barricades.
