Red dot sights are fast at close quarters, but there are times when a little extra reach makes all the difference, confirming a target at distance, reading fall of shot, or simply getting a clearer picture of what you're looking at. The HM3X is a 3x magnifier built to sit behind your red dot and flip into the sight line only when you need it.
The flip-to-side mount is quick-detach and fully ambidextrous, so the magnifier swings clear in a single motion when you want to revert to unmagnified shooting. A lower 1/3 co-witness spacer is included alongside the standard-height mount, which means the HM3X will line up correctly with most common red dot mounting configurations without needing to source additional parts.
Optical quality is strong for the price point. A 70 mm eye relief keeps the sight picture comfortable and forgiving on head position, while a 7.6 mm exit pupil and 7° field of view make target acquisition straightforward. The ±3 dioptre adjustment ring lets you dial the focus to suit your own eyesight. A worthwhile feature for shooters who wear corrective lenses or find themselves squinting through other magnifiers.
Holosun have built the housing from aluminium with an MAO surface finish, nitrogen-purged the internals to prevent fogging, and sealed it to IP67 for full dust and water protection. Windage and elevation adjustments are included so you can align the magnifier precisely with your primary optic, and a multi-tool for those adjustments comes in the box.
