It opens quickly when you need a clear sight picture, then stays out of the way while you shoot.This cover is made from aluminium and finished in black. Position stops hold the lid open instead of letting it swing back across the eyepiece, and the hinge tension can be adjusted to suit how firmly you want the cover to open and close.The 46mm size refers to the outside diameter of the ocular housing, not the glass size or your scope magnification. Measure the outside of the eyepiece and confirm it is 46mm before ordering.
