Hawke Metal Flip-Up Scope Cover Objective 50mm is a solid aluminium objective cover for shooters who want proper lens protection without adding bulk. It keeps the front lens covered in transit, on the rifle slip and out in the field, then flips clear quickly when it is time to shoot.
This cover is made from high grade aluminium and gives the front lens far better protection than a soft cap that can work loose in a bag or cabinet. It is built for one-handed use, so you can open it quickly and keep your other hand where you need it.
The cover can also be set to open in the direction that suits your rifle and shooting position. That makes it easier to keep the cap out of the way once it is flipped open.
This is the standard 50mm objective version. On Hawke covers, that 50mm size refers to the objective model size the cover is made for, not a universal fit across every brand, so it is worth checking your scope carefully before you order.
If your Hawke scope has a front adjustable objective, you need the separate 50mm AO version instead of this one. If there is any doubt, measure your scope and confirm the exact model before buying.
This cover fits Hawke 50mm objective riflescopes from the 2015 range onwards. It does not fit Hawke Frontier 30 models, and it is not for XB or XB1 crossbow scopes.
If you are matching it to a scope that already takes Hawke metal accessories at the objective end, this is the standard 50mm objective cover to look for. It can also be fitted to a Hawke sunshade where the scope uses that arrangement.
