Description

Key Features:

  • Green Multi-Reticle System offers a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle or a combined circle-dot for fast or precise aiming

  • Green 540nm emitter holds its contrast against woodland and bright open ground where red can fade in daylight

  • Solar Failsafe backs up the CR2032 battery and adjusts brightness automatically as the light changes

  • Shake Awake wakes the optic on movement and sleeps it when idle, supporting up to 50,000 hours at setting 6

  • Aluminium housing with a titanium hood shrugs off knocks, sealed to IP67 and rated to 1000G of shock

  • Quick-detach mount sits at 1.41 inch absolute co-witness height and returns to zero after removal

  • 12 brightness settings including two night-vision levels, with 0.5 MOA clicks and ±50 MOA of adjustment

Green reticles suit some shooters better than red, and that is where the HE510C-GR in FDE earns its place. The human eye picks up green more readily in daylight, so the 540nm dot keeps its contrast against hedgerows, woodland and bright open ground where a red reticle can start to wash out. Pair that with an open reflex design and a genuinely wide window, and you get fast, both-eyes-open target acquisition with plenty of peripheral awareness.

The Multi-Reticle System gives you a 2 MOA dot for precision, a 65 MOA circle for speed, or the two combined, switchable to match the job in front of you. Power comes from a single CR2032, rated up to 50,000 hours at setting 6, with Solar Failsafe drawing on daylight as a backup and managing brightness automatically as conditions shift. Shake Awake shuts the optic down when it sits idle and brings it back on the first movement, so it is ready without draining the cell.

Build quality is what you would expect from Holosun at this level. An aluminium housing carries a titanium hood over the emitter, the unit is IP67 waterproof and rated to 1000G of shock, and the integrated quick-detach mount sits at a 1.41 inch absolute co-witness height, returning to zero after it comes off. A taller lower-third riser is available separately if you prefer a higher dot position. Twelve brightness settings, two of them night-vision compatible, plus 0.5 MOA clicks and ±50 MOA of travel round out the package.

A sound choice for practical shotgun, carbine and rimfire shooters who want the daylight edge of a green dot in a rugged, field-ready optic.

In the Box:

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the HE510C-GR any different from the HS510C?

Same optic, different reticle colour. The HS510C runs a red reticle, the HE510C-GR runs green. Body, window, mount and features are identical. Green tends to stand out better in bright daylight and against foliage, which is the main reason to pick it over the red version. Both share the 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle reticle set.

What can I mount it on?

Anything with a Picatinny rail. It ships with a quick-detach mount at 1.41 inch absolute co-witness height, so it comes off and goes back on without losing zero. It suits practical shotguns, carbines and rimfire rifles where fast, both-eyes-open aiming matters. If you want the dot sitting higher, a lower-third riser is available separately to raise it to 1.63 inches.

How is it powered and how long does the battery last?

A single CR2032 gives up to 50,000 hours at brightness setting 6. Solar Failsafe backs that up by running the reticle off daylight if the battery dies, and Shake Awake sends the optic to sleep when idle and wakes it on movement, so you are not draining the cell between sessions.

Can I use it with a magnifier?

Yes. It pairs with a 3x flip-to-side magnifier such as the Holosun HM3X, which sits behind the sight and swings out of the way when you do not need it. That gives you a magnified option for longer shots while keeping the fast 1x reflex picture up close. We stock the HE510C and HM3X as a set if you would rather buy them together.

What reticle options does it give me?

Three, all switchable on the optic. A 2 MOA green dot on its own for precision, a 65 MOA circle for fast close-range acquisition, or the two combined as a circle-dot. Twelve brightness settings, two of them night-vision compatible, cover everything from dim mornings to bright midday glare.
