Replacement magazine O-ring for the Air Arms S410, sold singly. A small consumable that every multi-shot owner should keep a few of in the maintenance drawer.
The indexing post is one of those parts that Air Arms owners tend to learn about the hard way. It's the small component on the rifle, with a copper arm at its tip, that engages the magazine drum and rotates it as you work the bolt. When the copper arm bends or fractures, which does happen with use over time, the magazine stops indexing cleanly and the rifle starts to miss feeds or jam on the next pellet. The current upgraded part from Air Arms, carrying the factory reference S515A, is the right replacement for a long list of rifles across the range, covering the S310, S410, S510 (including the Superlite and Ultimate Sporter), the TDR and the Galahad. Usefully, this newer design also retrofits to older rifles that originally shipped with the earlier style, so it's become the single indexing post to know about rather than having to trace exactly which generation your rifle is from.
Replacement is a straightforward job for most owners and restores the rifle's magazine feed to the clean, reliable action it should have. A sensible item to keep as a spare if you shoot regularly. The copper arm is a vulnerable bit of kit, and finding one broken the night before a shoot is exactly the sort of thing that wastes a weekend.
